They cite the lack of citizenship laws in the Republic – and thus the by-default system of citizenship utilised by the government until their legislature, the Aenderian Lawmaker’s Council, or ALC, gets around to setting up a system of naturalisation – as a sign of the new administration’s lack of professionalism, and announced their withdrawal of diplomatic recognition.
The Eden administration, newly incumbent following the institution of a new regime following the cancellation of the Aenderian presydential election, was reportedly indifferent to the news. Former Presydent Russell Gilzem, now King of Auvenum, weighed in merely to remark “No wonder they hate you now” at the Aenderian presydent’s reported lack of interest.
A spokesperson for the Presydent’s office declined to comment beyond restating the Presydent’s apparent public policy objectives: to enact domestic policy.
