Artemis Langford founds Soviet Socialist Republics of Aarbaro
Aarbaro, a micronation that started its existence as the Federal Empire of Aarbaro under then Emperor Nicholas Kaos and which was declared defunct in January 2018, has been revived by Artemis Langford, one of the founders of the original country.

Aarbaro has restarted life as a Soviet communist nation, which Langford, per the Quo Times, has referred to as a “satire government”; Langford has since independence declared herself Supreme Council Chair, First People’s Deputy Chair, Chair of the Aarbaro Socialist Party, and Supreme Executive of the nation, among potential future titles.
It is unclear how serious Aarbaro ought to be taken. While Langford’s “satire government” comment implies it is intended to be taken lightly, excerpts of their declaration of independence is rather more serious; again per the Quo Times:
THE SOCIALIST SOVIET REPUBLICS OF AABARO HEREBY DECLARE THEIR INDEPENDENCE FROM THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA AND HEREBY ASSERT OUR OWN AUTHORITY OVER OUR COMMON LAND! THE SSRA SHALL ALSO DISSOLVE ALL BONDS THAT OUGHT TO BE DISSOLVED FROM ALL CAPITALISTIC ALLEGIANCE TO ANY NATION OR ENTITY THAT IS THE SAID ALLEGIANCE.

The declaration goes on to take somewhat more of a democratic bent, indicating that the government will only adhere to “strict socialist principles that are determined by the people, for the people, and of the people” – though appends “as well as advice and consent of the Socialist Party”.
Deliberations are currently ongoing internally as the Supreme Executive commences the establishment of the government.
Artemis Langford is also currently running to be elected Vorsitzender of Abelden, having been elected to the Reichsversammlung last night.
